Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
When you get a VPS servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in three cases - if the server includes no web hosting Control Panel at all, or if you select cPanel or DirectAdmin during the order process. In the first case, you'll be able to modify any part of the system through a Secure Shell console, whereas in the second, you'll still be able to use SSH to connect and to make modifications, yet you will also have a graphical interface accessible to control your world wide web content and almost all the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server packages a great choice when you wish to run any software which you can not install in an ordinary shared web hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you will be able to connect via SSH and to control the content on the server, yet the root access rights will be more restricted.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
Each and every dedicated server that we supply features full root-level access, when the server is ordered without a Control Panel, or with cPanel or DirectAdmin. If you'd like to set up and run heavy, resource-demanding apps and they have special requirements regarding the server software environment that cannot be fulfilled by a standard shared website hosting plan, our servers will be the best solution. With no Control Panel at hand, you can access the server and change its settings and the content which you upload through a console, whereas with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you'll have a graphical interface to control everything related to your web content, and the majority of server-side settings. As expected, if you get a dedicated server with no Control Panel, you can install some third-party software tool manually, as long as it supports the Operating System that you've selected at signup. When you choose our Hepsia Control Panel on your order page, you will have restricted root access, but you can still do quite a lot of things using a Secure Shell console.
